The Disposal Guide You’ve Always Needed

Cassava Bags can be reused more than 4 times depending on your requirements. They can be reused as a trash liner, a bag pouch and whatnot. Store in an airtight container and dry place within room temperature to lengthen its shelf life. (honestly, it can last more than 24 months in its orginal packaging!)

By the time you need to dispose of it you can follow below method: 

Option 1 - Melting it in hot water

1. Cut into small parts and melt in hot water (at least 60 °C). 

2. Allow the mixture to cool down and use it to water your plants. 

Option 2 - Composting it at Home 

1. You may include your Cassava Bags into your compost bin as a carbon component. 

2. Cassava Bags can fully biodegrade in as little as 64 days in home composting, and are safe to be consumed by microorganisms. 

SUGARCANE BAGASSE 

Sugarcane containers are recommended for single-use only, but it can be reused for non-food purposes such as biodegradable seedling planters. Store in a dry place within room temperature to lengthen its shelf life. 

1 Cut into smaller pieces for faster composting. 

2 Mix the material into your compost bin as a carbon component. 

3 Sugarcane Bagasse can fully biodegrade in approximately 45-60 days in home composting, and are safe to be consumed by microorganisms. 

BAMBOO AND BIRCH 

Bamboo and Birch eco-packaging recommended for single-use only, but it can be reused for non-food purposes. Store in a dry place within room temperature to lengthen its shelf life. 

1 Cut into smaller pieces for faster composting. 

2 Mix the material into your compost bin as a caarbon component. 

3 Bamboo and Birch can fully biodegrade in approximately 4-6 months in home composting. Both are safe to be consumed by microorganisms. 

KRAFT PAPER AND CARD 

Kraft eco-packaging can be reused for non-food purposes. Store in a dry place within room temperature to lengthen its shelf life. 

1 Cut into smaller pieces for faster composting. 

2 Mix the material into your compost bin as a nitrogen component. 

3 Kraft can fully biodegrade in approximately 2-6 weeks in home composting, and are safe to be consumed by microorganisms.
